The students currently do not have a leveled library in the classroom. We have just been using donated books to read during independent reading time. Ideally the students should have a library that they are able to choose books on their independent reading level so they can practice their fluency and comprehension skills. By giving the students a leveled library filled with nonfiction and fiction texts the students will be able to read books on their reading level and also have books to read during instructional time with me. This library is necessary in helping the students access different types of literature and become better readers.
