The students in my sixth-grade classroom have creative minds. While there are some struggling readers in my room, they all have the ability to design and build. With the help of Little Bits, students can take a character from a text that is on their own particular grade level and build a character from the story. The Little Bits will allow them to add movement to their designs. They will see their creations "come to life!" Projects such as this allow even my lowest level readers to feel success in the classroom and give them the drive to excel in other ways than reading.
