My students are currently trying to use MacBook Laptops from 2009 (the white ones) and 1st generation iPod Touches. The laptops have been an amazing addition to our classroom, but they only function if plugged directly into an outlet. The iPod Touches are so old that we can't download any current apps. With these new iPads, students will be able to practice their skills through the use of current apps and websites that come with our curriculum. Students will use them daily as extension activities and/or remediation during rotations. New, working technology is a must in this day and age!
