These books and materials I am requesting will allow students to explore the world and their imagination through reading. While reading students are able to put aside their own struggles and take a journey. "Reading a book is like taking a journey." -Emma Gulliford The books chosen for this project have been chosen specifically due to student interest and reading level. My students love reading high-interest books, and plead for more reading time. Donations made to our classroom project with greatly impact student learning. By putting these books in my student's hands, a love of reading will continue to be instilled.
