As the school nurse at Wendler Middle School, I work with almost 500 7th and 8th grade students in one of the most diverse schools in the nation. Our Newcomers program welcomes students from all over the world who are new to Alaska and to our country. We are in need of some basic supplies to help students to adapt to a new chapter of life in our chilly Northern weather.
