Ozobots are mini-robots that can follow a color coded path using just regular markers in the classroom. The different colors tell the robot what to do such as slow down or speed up. These interactive robots can be used to write stories. Think about the Tortoise and the Hare, the students would be able to code the robots: one to got slow and steady and one that goes fast then slow and then fast but is it fast enough? The creative design that can be used is endless! The stories are theirs to write and then see them in action. These are experiences that cannot be taught in a textbook. Your donations would help to make these lifetime learning opportunities available to all students! The life skills that it would take to complete these tasks would teach kids creative thinking, working collaboratively, engineering design, and presentation. When we combine all of these together, we effectively mold our students into learners that will be successful in the classroom and beyond!
