My students will be able to navigate their way through different major points in United States History online, while engaging with literature that gives them different perspectives on what was happening. It will also allow them to access the materials in levels appropriate to each student. Our textbooks are old and written in a way that loses the students attention, and worksheets are teaching them that history is rote learning. I want their earning about our past to be something they internalize to help them become informed citizens who understand how our nation's past informs decisions that effect their future.
