All of my students are identified as students with disabilities. Their disabilities vary, but consist primarily of learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and Autism. They are a very bright group of students that work hard to meet their goals. Having a smaller setting of only 2-4 students at a time, I would be able to use the iPad to target individual goals and help them gain new skills! In our 21st century, preparing students to use technology has become vital. We use technology in multiple ways every day, and apps have been created to help students learn and build on necessary skills. There are apps designed based on research to help students across a broad range of disabilities and I'm confident my students will benefit from an iPad!
