I have some students who are super sensitive to sound and can become over stimulated or agitated by too much noise. The noise minimizing headphones help calm and focus my students on their task and can be used across all school settings. There is also a Yacker Tracker to help my students self regulate their own volume. Students would have a visual reminder when the noise level gets too high. Everyone would become more aware of noise levels and learn to self regulate. Students can then spend more time on academic and social emotional goals. This will help us to become a cool, calm class.
