My students come to class each day ready to learn. They are excited with the mere mention of new facts. First grade is such an important place to be. It is the foundation for all the other grades. Most of my students are from low income families and are predominately Hispanic. It is my job as a teacher to provide materials to my students that will foster their learning for today and the future.
