Hello! My name is Ellen Miller and I am the School Counselor at West McDowell Middle School and the STEM Middle School - Foothills Community School. Budget constraints keep the schools from having the freedom to purchase supplies that would be helpful with providing opportunities for extra clubs. Belonging and participating in a club gives Middle School Students a sense of camaraderie and belonging. Most of our students are unable to stay after school for extra-curricular activities due to lack of transportation. WMMS provides this opportunity to each and every student by requiring each and every staff member to host a club. The support that comes via Donors Choose will help fund my club, Weaving Warmth & Kindness. Thank you!
