We are requesting three Chromebooks to assist them in their lessons designed specifically for dyslexia. These laptops will assist my dyslexic students with their writing fluency, hand-eye coordination, spelling and most importantly record themselves to make presentations. Dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia and dyscalcula are among some of the learning disabilities I encounter in most of my students. The incorporation of technology in my classroom with facilitate their learning by providing accommodations to ease their learning experience. Students are able to type responses. I utilize multiple methods of strategies designed specifically for dyslexia students such as the Hermann Method and the Esperanza Method for my bi-lingual students. Your assistance will provide my students access to technology that is imperative in today's world.
