Milwaukee German Immersion is a public school educating students in an immersion setting. When students enter the school in kindergarten, they are fully immersed in the German language. My 4th grade students are instructed in German in all subjects, i.e. math, science, social studies and language arts. This unique educational setting creates an environment where students become fluent in German, while learning to utilize different parts of their brain to access knowledge. My students are eager to work in cooperative groups and problem solve.
