Since we don't have a classroom library it is difficult to encourage my students to read more. They have very selective options and I want them to become more eager readers. The students are always asking me to bring more books in. I go to garage sales and online to buy more books for our library, but I feel it is never enough. Given the proper library I can ensure every student have an opportunity to become avid and informed readers. Reading and having a love for reading is extremely crucial and the most beneficial way students learn. A classroom library is the first step to making this possible!
