Watch, look, and learn are strong verbs to describe my goal of creating a 21st-century classroom. My project will provide the opportunity for me to help implement these skills that are necessary for our students to thrive in today's world. The Apple TV will allow me to use the I-Pad as a teaching tool, interact with many or all of my students at once and directly impact their learning. The I-Pad and the Apple TV together will bring this 21st-century type of learning into my classroom. This technology imy classroom will aid in creating an environment of meaningful learning and engagement. I am teaching fifth-grade curriculum to over 25 students with a wide variety of learning abilities,styles,and language skills. Therefore, it is crucial for me to think outside of the box for ways to differentiate my lessons and instruction to meet the needs of each and every one of my students so all will be successful. This must all be done while striving to bring JOY to their learning. I can't think of a better way to help them than by bringing rich visuals, digital literacy, critical thinking opportunities, collaboration, problem-solving, science, learning videos, interactive math problems, creativity, and many more meaningful opportunities through which my students will learn. The I-Pad and Apple TV together will help me reach this goal and benefit all of my students to obtain these 21st-century skills.
