My students will be able to retell a story to their peers after listening to it on the listening center. The listening center will aid my students to develop their listening and verbal skills. It is a great tool to make them successful in reading comprehension. With this listening center my students will be engaged in different types of literature. We have a listening center that is broken and I know my students will be very excited with a new one. We also need dry erase markers and individual boards to practice our motor skills writing. We will utilize the boards and markers everyday in many ways such as the morning message, high frequency words and retelling a story after listening to it on the listening center.
