One area my students do not get to explore is field trips, due to budget cuts. This magazine will help students with reading non-fiction text and identifying the evidence to answer response questions. Science current events articles bring today's most remarkable scientific discoveries into the classroom. The students need to read these articles, jigsaw them and then present it to the class. The presentations will assist english language learners with speaking Biology, physics, chemistry, Earth science, and engineering connections are covered in every article for students to read and learn about. STEM and NGSS support: Articles focus on careers, how science is practiced in the real world, and the interdisciplinary nature of science. Most of our students have not been told that they can be something in life despite of their struggles Informational texts and language arts activities bring literacy into the students' lives which enhance their social economic status.
