Imagine walking for days and sleeping outside with no protection. Imagine coming to another country and town and realizing that you cannot speak the language. Just imagine how scared you are to enter school a few days after coming into the new country. This is what our students are like. They come to this country wanting to get away from the danger and poverty. They have a dream. That dream is to come and make a difference in their lives and the community around them. Dreams can come true with the flexible schedule the students have. These students work all day and come for several hours a night to help them learn and make their dreams come true. They are eager to learn and very dedicated. They want to make their parent proud.

About my class
