My students are eager 6th and 7th graders. We are a newly expanded middle school this year, adding 7th grade to our K-6 charter school. I teach social studies and "Genius Hour" this year and would love to offer more opportunities to the students to explore their passion. The students' ability ranges from special education, a little below grade level, to advance / exceptional. The second half of the school year my 7th-grade students will be exploring their passion during our Genius Hour class and I am looking to bring in various manipulatives, supplies, and other tools to help them explore.
