This school year will focus on making learning fun for all in an inclusive environment. These materials will provide the students with endless possibilities to maximize their learning. The math materials I am requesting will be used during our number bonds unit and will create a small group activity to provide further instructional supports. Students will use the learn and sort chart stand and pocket charts daily during circle time and morning message. I will also be able to use the charts to introduce more vocabulary during each subject. I will be able to leave the materials up for the students to refer to throughout the day. They will be able to see and engage with site words while enhancing their vocabulary. I am requesting the headphones and read aloud book activities to help students with their listening skills and giving words meaning. The headphones/read aloud will allow me to create an additional small group learning center in my classroom. My students are used to working with old materials that have been passed down over the years. They know I want the best for them but for them to be able to see it through new materials will make them feel beyond appreciated.
