I teach in one of the best elementary schools on the south coast of Oregon. Coquille Valley Elementary is located in cozy Coquille in the beautiful Coquille Valley, about 20 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. We are fortunate to have an excellent and very qualified teaching staff that works hard every day to provide the best education possible for the very deserving students of Coquille. I teach Reading and Math Intervention for 4th, 5th and 6th graders, so I have the pleasure of working with students who need a little extra help with these two subjects. The best part of my job is watching the "lightbulb" turn on for a student when she finally reaches her goal in oral reading fluency or when he finally understands how to reduce and simplify a fraction! I love teaching! And I love helping my Coquille Valley "Eagles" become successful and more confident in their academic abilities!
