I recently changed schools and had to leave behind my technology - Smartboard, iPads, etc., so I'm starting from scratch with this class. I have 90-minute blocks of time for math classes and my science class. This block gives me the opportunity to change my pacing and vary my instruction while covering our objectives. My students will benefit from differentiated instruction through the use of learning stations. A technology station of iPads and Chromebooks will be used by all students; it will allow for enrichment, reinforcement, and remediation. This will also allow me time to give one-on-one to those students that need the extra help. The iPads and Chromebooks will also be used during whole group activities. My students in the past loved reviewing lessons with Jeopardy games and playing Kahoot, making PowerPoints for projects, and using them for research. Technology is a must in today's classroom.
