Within my classroom, every student is at their own level. Oftentimes, students have gaps in their knowledge which makes teaching an interesting challenge. Unfortunately I do not always have the time to backtrack and fill all the holes, especially when almost every student has their own difficulties. Technology is the most effective way to fill in the gaps in my students' mathematical background. We utilize online learning programs that allow students to work at their own pace; frequent online assessments ensure that the program remains up to date. Since many of my students do not have access to computers or technology at home, it is essential that they have access to technology within my classroom.
