I have the privilege of teaching 4 Secondary Math 1 Honors students. These students are always wanting to collaborate and brainstorm how to solve simple and complex problems. They love working in groups using the white board or large post it pads to help explain their ideas to one another. My largest class has 37 students which means there isn't enough space for all the groups to use the whiteboard. I want each group to have this opportunity of collaboration. This project will give the students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of their peers by promoting conversation, collaboration, and compromise. It will allow students to work with classmates that have different learning styles then their own, and help teach them leadership skills.
