Reading habits begin in the early years. Introducing children to literature promotes early literacy and supports a love of language and reading. I would love to have my classroom library filled with a multitude of books. This area is a distinct area of my classroom that my students visit daily where we are able to have private reading as well as partner reading. Books can help promote critical thinking skills as well as creative and social development. Please help me to continue to build this essential area for my students so that I can provide more opportunities for their reading enjoyment.
