Help Mrs. G's Kinder-DLI class love math (and have fun) with various different math manipulatives! After all, learning a second language can be hard but we all know that math is the same in every language. I hope to have donors fund this project so my students can learn and utilize different strategies to truly master math sense. Math manipulatives are also helpful to students who are visual or kinetic learners. As students progress to higher grade levels, it will be important for them to have a strong understanding of number sense to continue to build on math concepts in upper grades. Items such as counters, ten frames, unit cubes, dry erase pockets, pattern blocks, bear counters, and Judy clocks will help students understand how math and number sense influence the world we live in but also allow them to have fun while doing so!
