Writing is a daily activity in our classroom. Helping students write short responses and extended responses from literary and informational texts can become challenging, but students can become one another's exemplar. Student authors love to share their writing, and I love sharing students' work when they have executed writing effectively. The problem that often occurs is the process is not instantaneous, and it usually takes many steps to share students work on the White Board. I have to take a picture of the responses that I would like to share, email those pictures to myself, download those pictures, and then show them on the White Board screen. I'm requesting one Dingyl document camera. Students love seeing their work on the "big screen" as an exemplar and that inspires others to try harder as well. By donating this document camera you are providing students with instant motivation, instant peer review, and instant clarity when writing. Most importantly, instructional time will not be hindered. The document camera will do this and so much more for our classroom.
