I have chosen for my students a document camera which will give students more access to books during the lesson. A document camera is not a want but a true need with my instruction. It allows me to engage all students no matter where they are in the classroom. It is a more exciting and engaging way to learn. A document camera will help my kindergarten students stay focused on various tasks and improve interactions and discussions in our classroom. We do have a SmartBoard in our classroom and this document camera would be a huge help and change the way they learn. I also chose sand timers. They are a fun way to help build their reading stamina.
