Donations for this project will make a difference with my students' learning because they will be able to create, strategize, and recognize patterns in games and activities. Some researchers have found that playing games can help increase spatial awareness, which can help increase math performance in problem solving. I want to give my students the opportunity to build and create with Legos, practice with tangram puzzles, and strategize with classmates when playing games. With so much emphasis on testing these days, I want to give my students the opportunity to be creative and have fun in school, while increasing their spatial awareness!
