My students come from a varying home backgrounds, some are homeless, affluent, and some speak two languages. They come with many different life experiences or lack of. Our school is a Title 1 school since the economic status is changing in our area. I want all of these children to experience all they can since many will not have these lessons at home due to their differences. Our school has Exemplary status for the past four years and is a National Blue Ribbon School meaning we are in an elite group of the top 9 elementary schools out of 8,000 in Texas. The items being sought would continue to carry children's inquiry to a higher level with the opportunity of this grant would bring.
