Being able to hear the sounds in their games and coding projects would really enhance how much fun they have learning those lessons. Comfortable headphones are a very simple way to make our technology lessons more accessible for my students! I also have some students with sensory processing struggles and having over-the-ear headphones would help them stay focused when others are working in small groups or when the landscapers are right outside our windows with the leaf blower while we are working on our coding lessons. I also would prefer my students to have their own headphones than to keep borrowing over-the-ear headphones from our library's supply.
