Each of these items- wobbling stools, exercise balls, bean bag chairs, and rolling footrests- each offer an opportunity for my students to get the gross motor and vestibular stimulation that is necessary to help them be prepared to learn. This is an opportunity for my students to choose a method of movement that will help them to focus and be in charge of their own bodies. The donations from this project will improve the quality of learning in my classroom by helping to reduce the number of behavioral distractions due to over or under stimulation. I look forward to seeing my students happy, healthy, and ready to learn.

About my class
