This iPad will be used in center time each day. With only having access to computers three times a week for 30 minutes, an iPad will allow more students to have individualized help with literacy and phonemic awareness. These children were born into a technology using world. The educational progress and success for these students can be greatly supported with an iPad in our classroom. My Kindergarten students LOVE technology and they are excited to engage in educational programs offered in apps and online websites. I will use this iPad to download many educational apps (Starfall, ABC Mouse, Storybots, letter/sound recognition, number sense, etc) that students will have access to during centers and also during free time.
