I have requested a carpet that will provide safe seating for my students. I have also requested floor seats. My students will be able to safely participate in Reading Centers while maintaining a safe social distance between students. They will be able to read comfortably and be able to engage in conversations to promote interaction and sharing of ideas and opinions. RL1.1/RI1/1 - Ask and answer questions about key details in a text. RL1.2 - Retell stories, including key details, and demonstrate understanding of their central message or lesson. SL1.1 - Participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about grade 1 topics and texts with peers and adults in small and larger groups.
