My students look forward to using math in real world applications to make learning more interesting. Using breakout boxes (similar to escape rooms) are a way for students to work collaboratively on real world math problems. Students are so excited when they walk into our classroom and see it set up for a breakout activity. They know that it's going to be a great day in math. They always want another breakout day! Breakout boxes incorporate all areas of STEAM and encourage students to use cooperation and problem solving skills in class. Breakout EDU games teach critical thinking, teamwork, complex problem solving, and can be used in all content areas.
