My students' educational experiences would be tremendously enhanced through the use of Kindle Fire Tablets. My diverse range of learners (students with disabilities, English Language Learners, etc.) will be able to read and listen to stories on their tablets. Many of my students do not have technology resources available to them at home. As a teacher, I believe that it is my responsibility to provide my students with creative and exciting ways to learn. Learning through technology provides students with these creative and exciting learning experiences. These Kindle Fire Tablets would also help my students develop their literacy and math skills in such a meaningful way. In our classroom, we currently only have three computers. An additional three Kindle Fire Tablets would allow for double the amount of learning to take place. The students would also build their independence by demonstrating responsibility handling technology in our classroom during our Reading, Writing, and Math Workshops. I am confident that these Kindle Fire Tablets would enhance learning, promote a culture for learning, and help my students improve in all areas of their academics.
