Every day my students read independently in my classroom. My students have a deep desire and will to read graphic novels, which are a wonderful tool to enhance their learning. I want to provide my students with access to a new genre that covers various subject matter so they can broaden their reading experiences. I am excited for the opportunity to add new graphic novels into our classroom library. I look forward to gaining a chance to continue closing achievement gaps that are apparent among my student population. My students will see immediate benefits with these new reading selections in our classroom.
