My students will be using the Laptop Center to have access to more technology and be able to enhance their knowledge in US History and Law studies. The students will be able to research historical events, important historical documents and pivotal court rulings that have helped shaped this great nation. Not only will the Laptop center give them access to their online books, it will also allow them access to Study Island and Plato, which are online components designed to improve reading and comprehension skills as well. Students will use the Laptops in centers to watch interactive videos and do research based projects. My students will be able to take practice tests for state assessments and allow for mobility within the classroom. Finally, exposing my students to technology will give them computer skills they will use for the rest of their lives!
