The book House of the Scorpion, follows the life of Matt, a clone, and discusses how he was created, what his value is, how he is seen in society and how he will escape the life that was planned for him. Using this tool students will be asked to stretch their imaginations and their research skills to learn about what is happening in science today. To discover how our body systems work, how we can or can't share pieces of us to save another. They will dig into what it would be like if we could clone, humans, organs, they will debate whether we should or shouldn't be making this medical advances.
