I am excited to provide my students with a variety of hands on alphabet and phonics activities. These materials will help get them excited about learning important foundational language arts skills. By donating to this project, you will not only get students excited about learning, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will use these material daily at different stations. The alphabet activities will help them identify letter names and sounds, which is an important skill that requires mastery in kindergarten. The CVC words and word building activities will give students an interactive way to practice the first steps of learning to read. Lets make PHONICS FUN! Forget about the boring and repetitive worksheets, and not to mention the countless trees lost from the dozens of reams of copy paper. When students are having fun they are more likely to remember what the skill they are practicing.
