The Tournament of Roses Parade and Football half-time shows with the band stepping proudly as they perform music and drills, still give me chills. The students in band class keep that thought and other music ambitions in mind as they become great performers on their instrument. They practice daily marching through campus and performing their routine for their classmates, parents and relatives. The students work hard to make the best sound on their instrument and become one of the great musicians that perform on sound tracks and stage. As their teacher, I want to give them the best realist experience they can have about their newly acquired skills as a musician in a marching band, concert band and small ensemble. When you see bands on the television, you always see a certain style of clothing. The performers are dressed a certain way to express themselves as great musicians.
