My middle schoolers have been blessed with the opportunity to check out a chromebook for the year. Both students and teachers alike have embraced this opportunity and find the chromebooks to be a fantastic learning tool. My language arts students work in centers every day, and one center is a compass center where they work on their individual learning paths to improve reading skills. Although earphones were on our school supply list, many students were unable to afford them. If I can get a class set of earbuds, students will be able to come to class every day and complete their learning paths with ease. My World History students can also benefit from headphones as well. They watch many enrichment videos that supplement our topics. Students who do not have headphones do not always watch the videos if they can not find an extra pair. My students and I would be very appreciative if I could provide them with headphones that they could use each day.
