I will be using these costumes for our winter show. The costumes will be recycled every single year as the collection builds. Right now, we have no inventory since the program is in its first months. These costumes will be used for the students who travel by themselves to arrive to school an hour early for extra dance practice. Their hard work deserves this reward while they shine on stage. This will be their first show ever. Most students will not have this opportunity again. I think providing them with this extra element of being "Show ready" and in "performance mode" will promote a truly unique and empowering sensation. A majority of my kids do not experience positivity at home; this is their outlet.
