My students struggle to bring basic classroom materials with them everyday. In many cases their family cannot afford to provide them with adequate supplies which makes it difficult to succeed in school. In order to assist them in staying organized and keeping their work all in one place I would love to have binders and dividers for them. Organization and tidiness can contribute to a student feeling in control and capable of achievement. With your donation I can help my students have their work and additional printed support materials right at hand. This will help eliminate lowering grades due to not being able to find or keep track of homework. This will also decrease transition times (which create chaos) because the students will have all pertinent paperwork in the same place. I will spend far less time passing out and collecting papers. Many of my students do not have an organized home and they like my classroom because it is clean and tidy. It makes them feel safer and helps them focus on learning. With these binders they will take part in the organization which will give them confidence and help them take more ownership in their education.
