Students learn best when they are able to use and manipulate materials. When teaching is fun and engaging, it promotes excitement for learning and an eagerness to work on skills. The materials for this project such as magnetic letters, alphabet stamps and word building centers, will be used to fully engage students in literacy, math, and technology. By providing these materials, students will be allowed more one on one time when working on skills. Materials will also be used in small groups to help students who might be struggling in different areas. All these materials will make learning more engaging and make students more eager to work on needed skills.
