The materials requested already have a spot set aside for them in our classroom. These supplies will allow my students to explore magnets, building, patterns, and so much more. Center time is a cornerstone of Pre-K. The majority of our learning comes from center time. Students think they are just playing, but they are actively learning about a variety of topics. Having another center for my students will increase their learning. They will develop language skills while communicating with their peers, fine motor skills while manipulating materials, and build on academic concepts that are being taught. My goal is to provide my Pre-K students with every opportunity possible. They may not be able to get these center time experiences as they grow up. Access to another center would allow my students to have a better foundation for their learning.
