My students struggle with reading comprehension and understanding the strategies to help them. Therefore, I would like to have books in the classroom to use to teach specific strategies. Having some of the picture books will aid with their cognitive levels and lower their affective filters. I also am trying to build our classroom library. In addition, I would love to add some stories to help with their social emotional health, as we return to in person learning. We have been in the distant learning model for a year at this point.
