With 28 students, comes the challenge of reaching and teaching each one of them. My classroom is set up in different groups that work collaboratively together. With the gift of 5 Chromebooks my students will be able to do a number of things such as studying vocabulary words, produce final essays, cross curriculum research based projects, and allow students to view and watch math tutorials. My students will be able to use these Chromebooks in all academic areas. By having additional technology in the classroom, it will allow me to instill and integrate 21st century skills that not only support, but benefit my students for the future. Technology is an important tool to help the teacher get the students to collaboratively work together and motivate themselves as well as others. It is critical for my students to use technology in a classroom setting to further their knowledge and go above and beyond in all subject areas. All of my students show great interest when it comes to watching math tutorials online, editing their papers, and researching material online that is significant for their projects. By having access to 5 Chromebooks at all times, my students will have a starting pathway for success in the classroom now and for years to come.
