These materials will serve a variety of purposes in my classroom. All of the manipulatives can be used as counters and measurement tools in math. The Brain Flakes can be used for sorting, the Marble Run can be used to study force and motion, and the Magna Tiles will make a nice center during our magnet study. All of these materials will be awesome for STEM challenges as well. Most importantly, my students will be able to use them during cooperative learning time while they practice their IEP goals. Playing, building, problem solving and working together are some of the most important skills my students work on. These 'toys' will give my students new and exciting ways to be creative and find success in the classroom.
