Many of the children in my co-teaching classroom struggle with learning. Some of the children are classified special education, some have 504 plans or struggle with attention issues. These students in particular struggle with retaining concepts/skills. Unfortunately, many of our families do not have access to technology due to the lack of resources. My students visit the technology lab once every six days. Having iPads in the classroom will allow the children to have daily access to technology. There are several educational applications (mathematics, reading, phonics, spelling and vocabulary) that our class would be able to download and utilize. This will certainly be beneficial to our struggling students. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
